Polyethylene Caps
Polyethylene piling caps are an excellent and inexpensive way to protect costly pilings from internal rot (Specially from Seagulls!). Just push them on and screw to the pole or drill nail holes and nail.
Caps are made from UV resistant polyethylene with an estimated life in excess of 15 years for black caps, and 9 years on the white caps.
Available in two configurations: the standard flat or cone head. The "cone head" is uniquely designed to help discourage sea birds form landing on them, and makes them easier to throw lines over the pilings. Each configuration is available in 5 1/2" to 18" diameter (1/2" increments).
